The language of governed recursive intelligence
A plain-language guide to the ideas behind FantomX. Search a term or filter by theme to build a clear mental model of how the platform thinks — and where humans stay in control.
16 concepts
Recursive agent
An agent that can plan, run, and critique its own work — then refine it.
Rather than producing a single answer in one pass, a recursive agent decomposes a problem, attempts sub-solutions, evaluates its own reasoning, and iterates until the result earns confidence. Recursion is the mechanism by which depth and self-correction emerge.
Recursive AgentsAgent orchestration
Coordinating many specialized agents toward one objective.
Orchestration is the layer that assigns roles, sequences work, and reconciles results across a system of agents — planners, retrievers, evaluators, and synthesizers — so their combined output is coherent and traceable.
Mission ControlDecomposition
Breaking a large objective into structured, reviewable sub-questions.
Before reasoning begins, an objective is split into smaller, well-scoped parts. Decomposition makes the plan legible: reviewers can see what will be investigated and why, and can adjust the plan before work proceeds.
Synthesis
Combining evaluated evidence into a coherent, confidence-weighted conclusion.
Synthesis is where the system reconciles supporting and contradicting evidence into a single result, carrying forward the provenance and a calibrated sense of confidence — never presenting a conclusion as settled fact.
Evidence ExplorerGovernance
The structural controls that keep humans in command of the system.
Governance spans approvals, role-based access, audit trails, and human-in-the-loop review. At FantomX it is designed in by construction — an architectural property, not a policy layered on afterward.
EnterpriseHuman-in-the-loop
A qualified person reviews and signs off before anything is accepted.
The system is built to inform decisions, not replace decision-makers. For research, clinical-adjacent, and high-stakes contexts, qualified human review is the final and non-negotiable step.
Responsible AIProvenance
The traceable origin of every piece of evidence and conclusion.
Provenance links each conclusion back to the sources, datasets, and analyses that shaped it — and forward into where it was used. It is what makes an output auditable rather than opaque.
Evidence ExplorerAudit trail
A durable record of what the system did, in what order, and why.
Every meaningful step is logged so that a decision can be reconstructed and defended later. The audit trail turns a reasoning process into an inspectable artifact.
Client PortalConfidence
A calibrated signal of how well-supported a conclusion is — not a verdict.
Confidence expresses the weight of evidence behind a claim. It is meant to direct human attention to where scrutiny is most valuable, never to substitute for judgment.
Genome intelligence
Research decision-support for genomic and molecular analysis.
FantomX applies governed recursive reasoning to help prioritize and contextualize genomic findings for research. Outputs are decision-support requiring qualified human review — never diagnosis, treatment, or medical advice.
Genome IntelligenceMolecular exploration
Prioritizing candidates across a large molecular space.
The platform models and evaluates trade-offs across candidate molecules to help researchers focus deeper study, keeping every ranking traceable to its underlying evidence.
Use CasesPredictive simulation
Modeling scenarios to inform which experiment to run next.
Simulation lets teams compare scenarios before committing resources. The recursive layer explores many possibilities and surfaces the most informative ones for human decision.
CapabilitiesResearch decision-support
Assistance that informs expert judgment, not a substitute for it.
Across every scientific domain, FantomX frames its role as decision-support: it assembles, evaluates, and prioritizes evidence so that qualified experts can decide with more context and a clearer trail.
Evidence synthesis
Integrating many sources into a single, reviewable picture.
Evidence synthesis gathers literature, datasets, experimental notes, and model-derived signals, then reconciles them — including where they disagree — into a structured result a human can review.
Workflow ComparisonContradicting evidence
Signals that argue against a conclusion — surfaced, not hidden.
A trustworthy system shows dissent. FantomX deliberately preserves and presents contradicting evidence so reviewers see the tensions behind a conclusion, not just the conclusion itself.
Evidence ExplorerResearch-to-product
Carrying governed findings toward validated, review-ready delivery.
Beyond insight, FantomX aims to help teams move from governed research results toward validated software and product outcomes — with the same emphasis on traceability and human oversight.
